ARTIST BIO
Emy-Rose is a French abstract artist whose work is collected internationally. Born in November 1988, she lives and works in Lyon, France.
She has cultivated her artistic voice through years of personal exploration, experimentation, and emotional inquiry. Painting has been a vital part of her life since the age of nine, when a simple gift, a painting set, ignited a lifelong creative journey. Over time, she explored traditional techniques including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and charcoal before embracing abstraction as her true language.
A self-taught artist in her painting practice, yet intellectually grounded in the human sciences. She studied social sciences with a focus on sociology and psychology at the University of London and Université Lumière Lyon II.
Her art is both an emotional exploration and an introspective look at the human condition. This duality: instinct and intellect, defines her practice. Through her work, she builds a dialogue between aesthetic sensitivity and psychological depth, translating invisible experiences, memory, transformation, silence, into color, form, and gesture.
Her compositions invite the viewer to pause, reflect, and connect inwardly.
Influenced by artists such as Helen Frankenthaler and Joan Mitchell, Emy-Rose draws inspiration from the expressive power of color and spontaneous gesture. Her paintings have been exhibited in various international settings, including a notable showcase in Monaco, where her emotionally resonant style received acclaim.
Today, she continues to explore the space where emotion, memory, and intuition guide the creative act, crafting each piece as a visual poem, open to the viewer’s gaze and interpretation.

ARTIST STATEMENT
I'm Emy-Rose, and I’m so happy to invite you into a space where art connects the visible with the invisible, the personal with the universal.
My work begins in moments of shift when something moves, resurfaces, or quietly reveals itself. It’s shaped by memory, change, and that soft pull toward something within a feeling, a trace, a breath.
One recurring symbol in my work is the sun. It doesn’t appear as an image, but as a quiet, steady feeling not something external, but a force held within. An inner fire, a soft light that rises from deep inside.
Most of my work lives in that space where feeling meets landscape : where what's inside finds its shape in color and movement.
I believe in the quiet power of feeling. If a painting awakens something in you: a memory, a question, a moment of clarity, then it has done its part. That silent exchange between artwork and viewer is, to me, the true richness of art.
Each piece is a space to feel, not to explain. To let memory surface, and beauty emerge in what has no name. Emotion doesn’t need to be explained: color speaks, line moves, form remembers. A single gesture can hold an entire story.
I hope my work stirs something quiet within you; a memory, a feeling, a moment suspended in stillness. May it spark reflection, offer warmth, and leave behind a quiet trace of inspiration.
Thank you for walking this journey with me.
